Upcoming Arbitrations
MEC 8-21 is scheduled for arbitration in August. The grievance involves reassignment pay for a Reserve who picks up a trip on days off and is subsequently reassigned due to operational issues that interfere with another day off.
MEC 9-23 and MEC 10-23 both involve reassignment under Section 7.Q.6. The cases were discussed in mediation, but no settlement was reached, and they are now being scheduled for arbitration.

Eight Flight Attendants returned to work during the second quarter of 2026, bringing the total number of Flight Attendants returned to work in 2026 to 15.

As of 6/30/26:
- Arbitration: 10 cases pending through October

Contract knowledge remains one of the most important tools Flight Attendants have for protecting their rights. The MEC Grievance Committee will continue providing quarterly updates and educational resources throughout 2026.
