If the cabin is too hot to board customers, immediately use Easy Chat and select the exact phrase:
“Too hot to board customers.”
This phrase alerts station operations, SOC, and CSRs that the aircraft is too hot for boarding. SOC will coordinate with Ramp Service to address the issue.
Key Reminders:

- Determine the cabin temperature immediately upon boarding.
- Notify the CSR if a temperature issue may delay boarding.
- Discuss temperature concerns with the pilots and keep them informed.
- If you deplane, scan off and inform the CSR. Do not deplane if customers are onboard.
