Cab Reimbursement

CBA 2026 Implementation
(5.D.2.a., 5.D.3., 5.D.3.a. & 5.D.3.b.)

The 2026 CBA increased certain cab reimbursement amounts and expanded reimbursement protections for Reserve Flight Attendants.

Airport to Lodging Transportation

The reimbursable amount for cab transportation between the airport and a Flight Attendant’s place of lodging is now up to $20.00 for:

  • Assignments departing between 2200 and 0800
  • Assignments arriving between 2000 and 0600

Reserve Call-Outs of Less Than 3 Hours

When a Reserve uses cab transportation to the airport in order to respond to a call-out of less than 3 hours, prior permission from Crew Scheduling is no longer required for reimbursement of the reasonable actual expense of the return cab ride from the airport to the Reserve’s home or place of lodging when personal transportation could not be used.

Submit both the outbound and return receipts for reimbursement.

Submit Claims Within 60 Days

All cab transportation reimbursement claims must be submitted within 60 days of the date the expense was incurred.
